National Dog Day – August 26th 2024

National Dog Day began back in 2004 as a way of raising awareness of the number of dogs in rescue centres still looking for their forever homes.

Millions of dogs find themselves without a home due to a number of different reasons, but National Dog Day aims to highlight just how much dogs can be such an important part of the family, or ‘work family’.

As an interanl dog-friendly organisation, we have many four-legged friends who take up a unique role within our teams. Some of which are rescue dogs.

Today we wanted to celebrate our canine colleagues from across the charity.
