I was pleased to be able to share with you all our Ten Year Plan during the autumn.  In the plan we have taken stock of our post pandemic situation and set out how this charity can move forward into the future.

If you haven’t done so already or if you are new to Field Studies Council, I would encourage you to find a bit of time in the coming weeks to read the full version so that you can feel more informed and involved as we all move forward together. The full plan itself is actually only 19 pages long without the appendices. In the appendices we have been very open about the assumptions and facts used to put this plan together, the alternative models and the pros and cons of each.

Follow the links to find the full version and a shorter version, an infographic and a poster.
The presentation given by members of the Senior Leadership Team as we made our way around centres and business units is also here as is a video of my all staff Zoom presentation for those that couldn’t make the meetings. Members of the SLT have done a number of short clips on a number key aspects of the plan which I hope you will find useful.

Even as I write this, the economy is undergoing a great deal of change. Our Ten Year Plan is just that – a plan that we will need to regularly review and adapt over time. But it sets out a framework, the goals to work towards and the stepping stones to help get us there.

In this time of upheaval, I hope that you find that reassuring.

Best regards

Mark Castle
